Coin Jewellery is probably the oldest form of adornment used by humans. Which is why the `Kasu malai' or coin necklace is an iconic design and must have piece in South Indian jewellery.
Here we have a petite Sterling Silver (92.5) coin necklace where the coins carry the image of goddess Laxmi (seated on a lotus) and display a single row of `kempu stones' . The skill and craftsmanship exhibited in this piece are truly amazing. The necklace has been paired with matching jhumkas with a peacock design ear-stud.
Crafted using techniques used in South Indian antique jewellery; the necklace has been oxidised to give it a dark patina.
(Note: The necklace can be bought alone or along with the jhumkas, prices for both are different and both options given.Tassle provided at the end for adjusting the length, we can also provide silver links/chain if desired at an extra cost.)
